What is an ECC Serviced Office?

Executive Communication Centres (ECC) provide fully furnished office accommodation on a short term license agreement. You can stay for one week, one month or one year. All the fittings and furnishings are provided, although we are happy for you to bring in your own furniture and personal effects if you wish.

ECC operate unbranded business centres (our name does not appear within the building).

Reception services, meeting rooms, telephone equipment and high specification cabling are all provided. Ample visitor and client parking is available on-site and is free of charge. CCTV monitoring of buildings and parking areas is managed night and day.
How much space is available and how long is my commitment if I decide a Serviced Office is for me?
Offices generally range from 100 sqft (for one person) to
1,000 sq ft

Our clients can stay for as long (or as little time) as they wish simply by signing a one-page agreement. Some clients stay a number of years, some only a matter of weeks.

You can give two months notice to vacate your office if you decide it is no longer required. Notice can be given at any time. Alternatively, fixed term agreements are available for clients who know precisely how long they wish to stay.
When I have made my decision, how quickly can I move in?

Most of the time you can move in the same day. If you need to reassess your requirements once you have moved in, it is a simple procedure to move to larger or smaller space within the building.

Our only request for immediate occupation is that cleared funds have been deposited in our account.

What does a Serviced Office cost?

Costs vary from location to location and depend on the size, shape and position of the space. We are happy to provide an individual quote based on either square footage occupied or on a price per person (workstation) basis.

Prices are flexible so you can delete items from our range of services and the costs are adjusted accordingly.

What do the costs include?

Rental costs usually include:
Rates, service charges, heating, lighting, air conditioning, cleaning (daily). furnished reception area, rosewood desks and cabinets, leather office seating, telephone answering, ISDN connection, buildings insurance and maintenance, security, refreshments. A chauffeur and executive car service is provided at airport locations.

What other services are available?

Meeting Rooms and Executive Boardrooms, Beverage and Catering facilities, Broadband Access, Secretarial, Administration and general office support.

If my needs change, can I change offices?

Yes. At any time and for any reason you can move to larger or smaller space, subject to availability.

How do Serviced costs compare with lease costs?

Traditionally, when lease costs are quoted they are 'rent' only. In addition you will have to pay many other running and set up costs. These include: Rates (business and environment), essential services (water, electric, gas, heating and ventilation maintenance, repairs and decorations, lifts, security, estate management etc), legal costs, surveyors charges.......


ECC Serviced office costs include all the above including those which are harder to calculate (receptionist and support recruitment costs, salaries and NI contributions, telephone line rentals and maintenance charges etc,)

Our license agreement is straightforward with no 'legal speak' and no small print. It is easy to understand and, although you are welcome to show it to your lawyer, most clients are able to deal with it themselves saving hundreds or thousands of pounds.
